Last One

Well fellow peeps this is the last blog of the semester. I have to admit it has been a pain putting these blogs together before the deadline. When we were first told about posting blogs I thought it would be a piece of cake. Unfortunately, I was wrong. Every week I would put them off and tell myself that I would do them the following week but that too never happened. Yeah I guess you would call that procrastination. Hopefully it will not play a big role after this semester. I do want to graduate from Texas State in the next two years. I have to say some of the blogs I have read are pretty interesting and I had fun reading and commenting them.

David Ortiz $175,100

Sports Curses: Thursday evening at an auction the David Ortiz jersey sold for $175,100. Earlier this month the jersey was drilled out from under two feet of contrete at the construction where the new Yankee Stadium is to be built. A construction worker, a Red Sox fan, dropped the jersey in wet concrete during construction of the new stadium, hoping to hex the Yankees. Being a fan of the Boston Red Sox, I hope they can win the World Series this season.

100 Sexiest Women

According to FHM's annual 100 Sexiest Women in the World, Lauren Conrad ranks 95th. I personally think she should of have been ranked higher. Paris Hilton, who was ranked 77th, is sexy but not that sexy. Well at least Lauren Conrad was ranked higher than Britney Spears. If you would like to know Britney Spears was ranked 100th. Hopefully next year Conrad will move on up.

McDonalds

Yes ladies and gentlemen I have to say McDonalds is probably the best fastfood in the world. When I am broke I go there all the time to get something to eat. Dollar Menu, Baby!!! I mainly go there though for breakfast, for their sauage biscuit along with a large Dr. Pepper. Yep Dr. Pepper is the way to go if you want some caffine in the morning, come on I know some of us have 8 a.m. classes. You need the caffine to stay awake even if you do not have that 8 a.m. class, I know some of us have them boring professors that just drag on and on, especially in a monotone voice; after awhile you tend to get bored. What are some other places to get cheap breakfast?

SLOW JAMZ

While I was commenting on a few blogs I came across one blog about music. In this blog it referred to love songs or as most people call them, slow jamz. Anyway I just thought I post some "slow jamz" songs and see if others agree with me. If you know of any let me know so I can put them on my IPod. lol

Miami Dolphins

Tuesday evening Jake Long, the former Wolverines offensive tackle agreed to terms on a contract and will be the No. 1 overall pick by the Miami Dolphins. With the NFL Draft this Saturday and knowing who the No. 1 overall pick is already I guess I will still tune in to see who the No. 2 overall pick is. Not to take any excitement away from Jake Long and the Dolphins, but have you heard that Pacman Jones may be a Dallas Cowboy next season. WOW!!! I never thought he would play for the Cowboys, nevertheless be back on the football field.

Cavaliers 2-0

Monday night the Cleveland Cavaliers won 116-86 to take a 2-0 series lead against the Washington Wizards. With LeBron James scoring 30 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds the Cavaliers head to Washington for a crucial Game 3. I believe that Gilbert Arenas and DeShawn Stevenson would have to play their best basketball if they want to win a game in Washington. In Games 1 and 2 LeBron James has proven to DeShawn Stevenson and the Washington Wizards why he is "overrated."
